River Oaks Plantation is the most convenient golf destination in
Myrtle Beach. The course is situated just minutes from downtown
Myrtle Beach,the Myrtle Beach International Airport, and Broadway at
the Beach. Located directly across from the new Hard Rock Theme Park
complex on Hwy 501, River Oaks is surrounded by twelve golf courses
including it's neighbor The World Tour Golf Links. Numerous lodging
and dining locations await you as you leave the golf course. The
three major arteries in the Myrtle Beach area, Bypass 17 connects to
501 just west of River Oaks Plantation. Just to the east Hwy 501
connects to Hwy 31,making it easily assessable from any location on
the Grand Strand.
River Oaks Golf Plantation features 27 holes created by noted
architect, Gene Hamm which sprawl along the inter-coastal waterway.
With it's multiple tee boxes, it can challenge the advanced golfer, but
at the same time be player friendly to the recreational player.
From Myrtle Beach: Take Hwy 17 to Hwy 501. Follow 501 towards Conway. Go over the waterway and take the Waccamaw Blvd ramp (the first exit ramp).
Turn left onto Waccamaw Blvd. Turn right onto River Oaks Dr. River Oaks Golf Plantation is 2 miles down.
From Myrtle Beach International Airport: Take Jet Port Rd. straight from the airport. Jet Port Rd. turns into Harrelson Blvd.
Turn right onto Robert M Grissom Pkwy. Turn LEFT onto US-501 N. Go over the waterway and take the Waccamaw Blvd ramp (the first exit ramp).
Turn left onto Waccamaw Blvd. Turn right onto River Oaks Dr. River Oaks Golf Plantation is 2 miles down.
